The Link Between Image and Business

Whether you like it or not your image largely affects your business. And it isn’t just the way you dress or what you look like – thanks to social media it’s also how you present yourself online.


In everyday life we are judged. The way you present yourself, treat people, deal with criticism and speak about others is constantly being assessed and judged by others. It’s human nature. However when you’re in business – and in particular network marketing – this is also a direct reflection of your business.


You are your brand. How you do all of the above things will be a direct message to others about how your run your business and whether or not they’d like to be involved. So what does your image say about you?


For example – if you’re a representative of a skincare and cosmetics company, do you leave the house dishevelled and not made up? If you’re involved in the fitness industry, do you exercise regularly?


We’re not saying you must portray something other than who you truly are – but questions you must ask yourself are:


Would I want to do business with myself?


Are you portraying an image of confidence, of drive, determination and commitment?


Are you a direct reflection of your product?


Do you portray an image of where you want to be, rather than where you are now?


If you answered no to any of the above questions, it’s time to make some changes.
Study the people you look up to in your business and see what they do. Take their advice and put your own flare on it. Portray an image of success, of love, of determination and passion and watch your business follow.
